All I have to say is that the current R&B chicks better step their game up. Daughter of Hollywood hottest couple, Willow Smith is ready to whip this game into shape. The 9 year old offically just drop her first single ” Whip My Hair“. There has even been talk that Jay Z himself has already inked a deal with her. Jaden isnt the only one with talent.

Like most artist JoJo has jumped on the mixtape bandwagon. “Can’t Take That Away From Me”, is the pop artist newest release in years. “In the Dark” is the singer’s first track to be released. The song is clearly showing that our little JoJo is all grown up, and is done singing about puppy love. JoJo official album is scheduled to drop later this year.

If you thought this soulful artist was done singing the blues, you were wrong. Kelly Price is back with her new single entitled “Tired”. Even though her camp hasn’t provided a solid release date of an album, Kelly hasn’t missed a beat. We can only wonder would there be a R. Kelly collaboration for old time sake in the near future. Well if not all we can do is be happy that Kelly is back and is TIRED of being silent.

It seems just like yesterday when tragedy struck. Exactly 9 years today (August 25th), Aaliyah Dana Haughton, Gina Smith, Luis Morales, Douglas Kratz, Scott Gallin, Keeth Wallace, Christopher Maldonado, Eric Foreman and, Anthony Dodd tragically lost their lives in a plane crash. Aaliyah was on location in the Bahamas filming the music video to her single “Rock the Boat” and was returning to the states. So young and so talented; Aaliyah was just 22 years old.
In remembrance of this incredible talent, I have chosen my top 3 Aaliyah music videos below.

After headlines of a lawsuit and a potential sex tape with footballer player Antwaun Cook, Fantasia reportedly overdosed. Earlier today, CNN reported that the American Idol was rushed to a North Carolina hospital this past Monday night. Its reported that the star’s overdose included sleep aids and aspirin and was not life threatening. The Broadway starlet has an album that is scheduled to released later this month, “Back To Me”. All we can do now is keep this songbird in our prayers and hope she gains strength from this bittersweet experience.

It seems to me that Christina just cant get rid of X-Tina. Along with a hot new album Christina Aguilera has a steamy new film to follow “Burlesque“. The motion picture is based upon the story of Ali (Christina’s character) , a small-town girl who decides to leave town for Los Angeles to go after her dreams. Yet when she gets there she finds out life isn’t as glamorous as she had planned. Ali soon becomes a waitress at a burlesque club that happens to be owned Tess (Cher’s character) who is a retired dancer and is currently losing the club. Ali begs Tess to give her a chance to perform yet, Tess continues to decline until Ali stops taking no for an answer. That’s where the fun begins and Christina soon takes us back to her dirty days. The film hits theaters this Thanksgiving.

If you think you know the Boss, you’re wrong. Rick Ross is not just having a huge impact on hip hop music , the boss is also impacting young kids lives in a huge way. This past week Rick Ross hosted his annual backpack giveaway and concert in Miami, the “3rd Annual Rick Ross Be Out Day“. The charity event served the South Florida community by providing a fun filled day at the park with performances by the “Diamond Princess” Trina, Waka Flocka Flame and the Boss himself. After receiving numerous awards for his work, Rick Ross merely wanted everyone to understand that “Be Out Day” is about supporting and preparing the children for a successful school year. It’s really good to know Ross is the ultimate Boss.
