OBVIOUS Magazine gives you the opportunity to have your work published in a top-quality, highly popular publication – both digitally and in print (coming very soon). That means global exposure. Are you a street artist, stylist, designer or make-up artist? Are you a photographer, artist, writer or music fanatic with something to say? However you work your vision, connect with OBVIOUS Magazine for the opportunity to collaborate with other local and international creatives, get eyeballs on your product and even launch your career.

Here’s what to do to join our team…

STEP 1

PHOTOGRAPHERS/STYLIST/BEAUTY/DESIGNERS: Send low res images (zipped or folder) or the backend link (hidden to public) to your story to contribute[at]obvious.com. SUBJECT LINE: OBVIOUS Submission. All images supplied must be sent in their final, retouched format. Shot accordingly to ensure that images are not cropped.

WRITERS: Articles can be submitted in Word Document or PDF format. We also accept ‘Feature Request’ too. Please be clear and precise in your inquiry.

STEP 2

Please check the list of issue themes below. Decide which issue you would like to contribute to and send a detailed outline for your concept (with supporting material, if desired) to contribute[at]obviousmag.com. Alternatively, submit work you’ve already done that relates to the issue’s theme.

IMPORTANT! Please note that we will not publish contributions that have been placed online on any platform (Facebook, Twitter, flickr.com, myspace, Dripbook, your site, etc.), print, video, and/or television. UNSOLICITED, ORIGINAL, AND UNPUBLISHED WORK ONLY.

STEP 3

Once your idea has been approved, we’ll notify you. You’ll be placed on the contributor’s list and your work will be published in the specified issue.
