Shifts and adjustments bring smooth operation to the publication

NEW YORK, NY (February 2010) OBVIOUS Magazine is moving team members forward with the recent installment of Carl Ayers and Golda Smith as Editors-in-Chief and Deshawn Spellman as Executive Assistant to Publisher.

The OBVIOUS Magazine executive team has shifted in order to provide the readers and viewers with the best information and quality publication. Being that OBVIOUS is scripted as a two-in-one publication for both males and females; it was necessary to position an Editor-in-Chief for both audiences. Golda Smith, who was recently announced as Editor-at-Large, will assume the role as Editor-in-Chief for the female side of the magazine. This change will ensure the consistency and flow of what the two audiences will receive from each edition.

DeShawn Spellman, who formerly served as 2nd Assistant to Publisher, is now the Executive Assistant. DeShawn will work closely with Publisher, Jerris Madison, managing his schedule and assisting in daily tasks pertaining to the publication.

OBVIOUS readers and viewers can look forward to seeing the magazine soar to new heights with the solid leadership and executive staff that OBVIOUS Magazine has.
