2010 AMA Fashion: Skingraft + Dirty Money

During one of the highlight performances of the 2010 American Music Awards, Diddy-Dirty Money members Dawn Richard and Kaleena appeared in stunning designs by SKINGRAFT. The looks first premiered for Spring 2011 LA Fashion Week at Cotton Inc + ExLA produced by eM Productions.

Obvious Magazine spoke exclusively with SKINGRAFT designer Jonny Cota regarding his custom work for Dirty Money: “Diddy had a very clear idea of what he wanted and Skingraft was lucky that his vision was in line with our new hooded leather pieces from our recent runway show.  The styling team helped connect the dots and align the stars.”

SKINGRAFT’s 2011 African-inspired collection focuses on “the delicate lightness of dark” by mixing the intricate construction of structured leather garments, jersey, and silks.
