I must say it is really sad to see Ellen DeGeneres say bye to American Idol so soon. Ellen was only on the hit show for only one season and FOX confirmed her going away in a statement July 29,2010. Ellen states “It was a difficult decision to make, but my work schedule became more than I bargained for,” . She continues to say “I told them I wouldn’t leave them in a bind and that I would hold off on doing anything until they were able to figure out where they wanted to take the panel next.” I believe I SPEAK for all of Ellen and Idol’s fans when I say she will truly be missed. On the other hand all I can do is wonder who is going to replace her.

With all the drama  between the  Barbie MC’s Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj, you would be happy to know that at least someone is trying to stop the unnecessary drama. The “Million Dollar” Trina speaks about her point of view of the situation at hand. Trina states” I just feel it blown over the top, I don’t feel Nicki feels, I’m gonna be disrespectful to Kim, I’m Nicki Minaj”. The diamond princess continues with her wanting unity and a possible collaboration on “Ladies Nite Part 2″ , a follow up to the track that featured females MC’s Missy Elliott and Angie Martinez. All we can do is hope that Kim and Nicki takes some of Trina’s southern hospitality and puts it to good use.

Due to  recent  leakage of tracks such as “Hunt 4 U, Finding My Way Back, Automatic and her current single “Sponsor”  Teairra Mari highly anticipated album “At This Point” has been pushed back again. However instead of leaving fans whom have been craving sweet and sultry  tunes from the feisty song bird, in the cold. Teairra Mari  still plans to heat up the charts with an EP release  titled “Sincerely Yours” on August 17, 2010. The EP will consist of tracks titled “Operator”,” Uneasy” and “Body” to name a few. At this point, this decision could be considered as good one for Teairra and her camp  due to the fact that something is clearly better than nothing. But if you still find yourselves unsatisfied and wanting more, you can also catch Teairra  in the upcoming Blockbuster film” Lottery Ticket” which is scheduled to hit theaters August 20,2010.

Nicki Minaj is really grooming her self to become the next hip-hop Fashionista. Despite ongoing beef with “Queen Bee” Lil Kim,  Minaj is still preparing  her first album which is slated to be release on November 23, 2010. With her current single “Your Love” reaching #1 on the Billboard Charts, Minaj admits that she is inspired fashionably by Annie Lennox, whom track “No More I Love Yous ” Minaj sampled. Even though the album is still untitled, we are sure the album cover art will showcase Nicki’s signature in-your-face poses and daredevil fashion. We can only anticipate that this chic chick  has more tricks in her designer bag.
