Fall/Winter 2017 Collection is what we love about fashion: CREATIVE EXPRESSION and BOLDNESS. Though more of the collection is very editorial-based celebrities like BjΓΆrk and Tilda Swinton can easily rock these looks.

Press Release
(NEW YORK, February 11, 2017) This morning, dreams took flight asΒ Laurence & ChicoΒ presented theirΒ Fall / Winter 2017 Collection,Β LC888<β>LC889, at Pier 59 Studios.
The collection is comprised of 18 looks that include a combination of oversized velvet pieces and more tailored, intricate looks. Using Laurenceβs vibrant illustrations, Chico designed the collection with pillows, cushions, and comfort in mind. Pearls in various sizes were used as embellishments on jacquards and puffed up velvets, in addition to functioning as seams, connecting different together materials to create a new fabrication. Using the brandβs signature prints and fabric manipulation, the duo created a captivating feeling of being up in the air: dreamy, euphoric and ethereal.
Model’sΒ were accessorized with oversized square wigs, custom gloves + shoes and phones cases from their collaboration with Candies. Each look was finished with a futuristic makeup look by Beautyblender, which supplied its own Pro team for the first time this season.
The presentation featured modelΒ Shaun RossΒ (Laurence & Chico is the only show he is walking in this season) and music by DJΒ May Kwok. Joining in the celebration were notables that includedΒ Miss J. Alexander,Β Larsen Thompson,Β Vienna Skye, Louisa Warwick,Β Mery Racauchi,Β Cailli + Sam BeckermanΒ and more.
Inspired by whimsical dreams of air travel, the collection came to life in a loop of sketching and dozing during flights back and forth from Laurence Li and Chico Wang’s hometown, Vancouver, and New York City. βIn the dream, we were wrapped by one giant soft pillow while marshmallow-clouds passed by the plane window one by one. The pillow was so comfy and warm. Within these clouds, there were sleepy, laid back, unusual creatures, along with plane-looking creatures that fuels by farting. This is Airline LC888<—>LC889. The collection aims to bring this dream to all of you.β β Chico Wang, Creative Director.
