If you haven’t seen “The Hunger Games” it is a must-see film! The movie came out in 2012 and is one of the most talked about movies to date.

The Hunger Games is Part 1 of Suzanne Collin’s Hunger Game trilogy novels (Catching Fire is part 2 and Mockingjay is Part 3). The Hunger Games is a televised annual event where one boy and one girl from each of the 12 districts in the novel are placed in an arena and have to fight to stay alive. The goal is to be the last one standing alive; boy or girl. As harsh and gruesome as it may sound, it’s actually a story about love, survival and sacrifices. I would also strongly suggest you read The Hunger Games Trilogy so that you can understand in more detail the history of story.
