Contestant #54: Dominique Price was asked to submit a personal video and answer key questions along with his submission to allow us to see his human side.

How has this competition affected you in a positive way?

The competition has made me look within. I’m the physically attractive guy in the bunch who has been showered with compliments all his life. For the first time in a while, I have taken some time out with myself and done some reflecting on why I want to be successful. I realize that my life is not about me. The world is so much bigger and I want to be used to positively influence the lives of others. OBVIOUS Magazine has created a platform for me to do just that.

When was the last time you helped someone in need?

A brother/friend of mines founded a nonprofit that provides inner city and foster kids with dynamic mentors. He suggested that I help an aspiring high school football player who had been in some trouble with the law. I have taken him under my wing as a mentor and have been training him on and off the field. He thinks he is getting so much from the relationship but little does he know how phenomenal I feel leaving him each day. I thoroughly enjoy pouring into him.

How do you handle public scrutiny?

I don’t take it personally because I know nothing anyone says has anything to do with me. Everyone has an opinion and its their right to exercise it how they choose.

What makes a model a model?

A model knows that he or she is enough. A model embraces every part of his or her being while celebrating differences.

What makes YOU a model?

My ability to connect with the camera and resilience make me a model. Without those two pieces I am unbelievable and incapable to survive in the industry.

What are your Top 3 Dream jobs/campaigns you would like to book and why?

My top 3 Dream jobs would be for Ralph Lauren, Gucci and Calvin Klein.

What’s your FAVORITE quote?

My favorite quote has to do with my business “If your not getting better, you are getting worse.” -Joe Paterno

Favorite food?

My favorite food is my grandmothers sheppard pie.

Dream place to travel?

Dream place to travel is Dubai. Dubai is such a wealthy country. I just would love to be around wealthy people so I can start thinking like them.

Workout Regimen?

My Workout Regimen is simply no days off. This is my life! I practice what I preach.

Lastly, I want to thank my friends and family for going out of their way to support me. The love I’ve received has been overwhelmingly amazing. You would of thought I was running for president by the support they were showing. LOL! But, I am blessed to have such amazing people in life. And most importantly, God. Without him none of this is even possible.
