Bosscat Kitchen & Libations Houston has delicious comfort food, and a Whiskey Bar with more than 300 whiskeys, bourbon, and scotch selections will make you envious. An excellent meetup spot for friends after an event or a special occasion.
Bosscat is adjacent to the River Oaks District and minutes from The Galleria Houston. The modern styled decor filled with warm tones catches your eye immediately. The friendly atmosphere, laughter, and conversing amongst friends set the tone.
Tapas style dining is the current trend of many restaurants; Bosscat Kitchen & Libations Houston has flawlessly mastered this art. The menu’s simplicity kept the focus on the mouth-watering options and the various array of Whiskeys from around the world.
We started our food journey eating the Cornbread Madeleines served with huckleberry sweet cream butter (not shown) and Bourbon Chicken Flatbread (not shown). Next, we tried the Avocado Farm Chop Salad (not shown) and the Gulf Shrimp & Grits (not shown). Each dish was full of flavor, presented with love and appreciation.
The waitstaff was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the restaurant and menu. They made us feel as if we were guests in their home with Southern hospitality at its finest.
We finished with the Red Velvet Churros [yummy], and a signature drink called the BC Sweet Tea (Old Forester Bourbon, Bird Dog Peach, House Infused Sweet Tea, Mint, and Lemon).
