If you’re interested in the best way to make educating yourself about Sea Moss Gel and how to make it? Look no further. It’s easier than you think.
Starting your healthier eating lifestyle or becoming a Vegan can be perplexing; however, it doesn’t have to be.
After surviving bone cancer, which resulted in me having half of my right hip amputated, I’ve become a self-advocate on what I eat. I don’t want any doctors pumping me with pharmaceutical drugs as a ‘here take this’ remedy.

I do understand that some people need drugs, and I’m not advocating they stop taking them. I do suggest you document what you are eating and do more research about your diagnosis to see if there are other options. Small disclaimer, I did consult a doctor I trusted before I started this journey.
I’ve heard about Irish Moss (aka Sea Moss) since my amputation. I will be honest; it’s been overwhelming. I’ve probably watched over 100 videos on YouTube about this algae.
Upon research, I’ve found out Sea moss consists of 92 minerals of the total of 102 minerals that our human body requires, including selenium, calcium, potassium, magnesium, and many more. I do take Organic Bladderwrack capsules as well to maximize the sea moss effects.
While on YouTube recently researching, ‘How to Make Sea Moss Gel,’ I came across Youtuber, Akeem Pierre’s video, ‘How to Make Perfect Sea Moss Gel Every time! | Irish Seamoss Preparation MASTERCLASS | AA EP. 18.’ Finally! The best video I found after watching a vast amount of videos.
Akeem’s video was entertaining and informative. He educated me about sea moss, the best kind to purchase, and answered a few FAQs/common problems at the end of the video. I now purchase my sea moss from www.akeempierre.com. His sea moss is consistent and I only purchase products from brands I trust.
There are two varieties of Irish Moss: One sourced and grown in pools and Wild Crafted sea moss the comes from the sea. I prefer the latter of the two.
Akeem Pierre’s Irish Sea Moss comes in two individual packages (1/2lb and 1lb). The 1/2lb bag is for the small-batch I made. I used one of the Ball Mason Jars I purchase from Walmart (a case of 12-16 oz jars for about $8.98). Make sure you put the date on your jar. I prefer to make small batches to be consumed within a week.
To simplify this post, watch Akeem’s video. It will allow you to pause if you miss a step though it’s very straightforward.
Usage for Sea Moss Gel
Since this is new to me, I’m using the Sea Moss Gel in my smoothies (two smoothies per day; 1-tsp per serving) After two weeks, I will add to other dishes like my creamy Vegan soups. I’m also considering a hair and skincare regimen as well. Stay tuned.
I will continue to document my progress and share my results. I purchased all of the products mentioned, and this is not a sponsored post.

How To Use Sea Moss On-The-Go
I travel a lot. I don’t oftentimes have the luxury of traveling with my Sea Moss Gel so I purchase Sea Moss / Bladderwrack Capsules (Vegan) from Alkaline Herb Shop. I take 3 per day with 3 Burdock Root Capsules (from Amazon) every day.
Here’s to healthy living.
